Oh my word! or goodness? I so love 1.6!!! Just like what Marianne said, I love the sprinting part. Just as I was about to give up, when I was starting my third round, I encouraged myself to go on as before I know it, it will be over.
Wait a minute, *thinking*, what does "before I know it" mean? Like er... like... ugh! I'll just forget about it!
Okay, back to the third round. I started to slow down and pretended my hair needed to be retied. But I only did the retying once. :) As I reached the fourth round, I started to smile a bit. I started to jog a bit faster. Happy to know I can sprint very soon! I was halfway through the fourth round when I heard the 6/2 ppl like Madeline and Rachel or somebody else... saying, " Is that Marianne?" and " I think so." then, "GO MARIAANNNEEEE!!!" Since Marianne was in front me like 5m, Marianne turned and smiled. After that I heard, "oh, so that's Marianne..." then, "GO CHRISTIIIIANNNNEEEE!!!" I also smiled back at them. I'm glad they were cheering for me.
Amirah caught up with me, she asked me if I tired or something. I was getting closer to Mary. With 1/3 left of the track, I started to sprint as fast as I could. "This is the time, Christianne! Go!" I thought. My feet were burning but I did not care. It was like my legs were getting engine to fly like an airplane. The wind pressed against my face, I grinned. I loved the feeling. I passed Nadine, she was like, "whoa!" I continued to grin from ear to ear as I raced through the finish line. Matthew said, " wah, 7 got 7th place." Since my place was 7, I found it funny. From being too exhausted and tired, I quickly sat on the floor faintly, still smiling. I could not believe I got 7th place and how fast I was. Except I am not so sure if I was even fast. Hmm...
These are such great memories... Oh yeah, which reminds me of Brookline again. I just read Julianne's old blogs. She was talking about winter in Brookline, Boston, New Hampshire and Vermont. She talked about shopping in Macy's. She talked about ice-skating. She also talked about the memories we had as a family! I so miss those moments that I could sometimes cry. I'm reading a book about a girl who is skiing in switz, when she described the mountains, the snow and how cold but yet there's warm feeling, I cried.
I know a bit emotional and dramatic...
